The Alabama Marine Resources Division (MRD) will temporarily close the Bay Watch Boat Ramp for repairs on Monday, May 13, 2019, at 7 a.m. The boat ramp is located adjacent to the U.S. Highway 98 bridge at the mouth of the Fish River in Baldwin County, Ala.
During the closure, the existing finger pier for the launch ramps will be replaced. Construction activities are expected to be completed in approximately two weeks after the project begins, weather permitting.
Public access to the site will not be permitted throughout the renovation process. During the repairs, the Viewpoint Boat Ramp located at the southern end of Baldwin County Road 1 will remain open for local access to the Fish River and immediate areas.
