Oct. 31, Saturday: Spooky Spokes Costumed Bicycle Parade, 10am-1pm. FREE, Family/Pet Friendly
Bring your bicycle, wear your costume, and be part of the finest Halloween bicycle parade around! Bicycle parade begins at 10:30am. No bicycle? No problem!! Walkers (especially zombies) and leashed pets can parade, too, at 11am. Some games and other simple outdoor activities will also be available. All should be able to have a fun time while keeping a social distance from others. Come join us! It will be SPOOKTACULAR! 10am-1pm. Meet at Delta Hall Parking Lot.
Nov. 1, Sunday: 5 Rivers 1st Sunday Outdoor Market: 12-4pm, FREE, Family/Pet Friendly
The 1st Sunday Outdoor Market features local arts and crafts, farmers’ market, and outdoor-themed items from the 5 Rivers Cypress Gift Shop. The market takes place the first Sunday of the month, September through May, 12-4pm.
Nov. 1, Sunday: Market Day Delta Discovery Boat Tour: 1:30-3pm, $20/$12
This 90-minute excursion aboard Blakeley Historic State Park’s “Delta Explorer” treks into the wild and scenic lower reaches of the Mobile-Tensaw Delta--known as the "(North) American Amazon"--introduces visitors and local residents alike to a truly astounding natural habitat. Offered in conjunction with "Market Day" at Five Rivers Delta Resource Center the first Sunday of each month September-May. Departs from Bartram Landing. 1:30 -3pm. $20 for adults, $12 for kids ages 6-12.

Nov. 7, Saturday: Special Wildlife Demonstration at Blakeley Historic State Park. 8am, registration required, 12 and older only
On Saturday, November 7th Blakeley offers visitors a unique opportunity to learn about the amazing natural heritage of the Delta region. At 8am, we welcome 5 Rivers Educator and falconer Mark Wetzel for a one-of-a-kind wildlife program. Mark regularly trains birds in the park, and has generously offered to allow a small group to accompany him on a guided hunt with one of the raptors under his care. Come learn about incredible raptor species and witness these magnificent animals in their natural habitat! As this program involves an actual live hunt, it is not suitable for children under age 12. Preregistration is required, and group size is limited. Complimentary with regular park admission to Blakeley.

Nov. 20, Friday: Fall Sunset Boat Cruise: 4:30-5:30pm, $12.50/$7
Late Fall and Winter sunsets on Mobile Bay are some of the most brilliant and colorful of the year. Come along on a brief relaxing voyage aboard Blakeley Historic State Park’s pontoon boat, “The Delta Explorer” departing from Bartram Landing as we experience nature's splendor and be back in time to grab a seafood dinner on the Causeway! 4:30-5:30pm. $12.50 for adults, $7 for kids ages 6-12.
Nov. 21, Saturday: Mobile River Cruise with John Sledge, 9am-12pm, $39/$19
Join us with John S. Sledge, author of the award-winning book, The Mobile River, narrates a three-hour cruise across the Mobile-Tensaw Delta and down the storied Mobile River leaving a wake of history—some previously untold—behind. An authority on local history and an accomplished storyteller, Sledge helps bring people, places, and events from this area’s rich past to life. Signed copies of Sledge’s books will be available for purchase following the tour. This cruise is aboard Blakeley Historic State Park’s pontoon boat, “The Delta Explorer”, and departs from Bartram Landing. 9am-12pm. $39 for adults, $19 for kids ages 6-12.
Nov. 21, Saturday: Delta Boat Tour, Intro to Outdoor Photography with Kathy Hicks. 1-2:30pm, $20/$12
Intro to Outdoor Photography: Bring a camera and join us for a relaxing site-seeing cruise into the wild and scenic Mobile-Tensaw Delta and pick up a few pointers on capturing the best shots of our amazing natural environment! Kathy Hicks, a professional photographer and educator at Five Rivers Delta Resource Center, will accompany us and be on hand to help beginner photographers learn how to capture stunning images of the natural environment. Kathy is well known for her incredible shots of Delta wildlife and will help you understand how and where to capture the best images on your own. No camera is required for this cruise, though--just relax and enjoy the scenery and pick up some tips on how to better capture special moments. This cruise is aboard Blakeley Historic State Park’s pontoon boat, “The Delta Explorer”, and departs from Bartram Landing. 1-2:30pm. $20 for adults, $12 for kids ages 6-12.
