Full-time college students ages 17–23 who live in Alabama and attend an approved Alabama college or university may qualify to purchase hunting and fishing licenses at resident rates.

How to Apply
1. Create an account or log in.
Visit MyOutdoorAlabama.com to get started.
2. Submit an eligibility request.
From your account, submit an eligibility request for the nonresident college student discount. Complete the required information and upload the supporting documents requested, including:
- Proof of enrollment at your Alabama college or university.
- Proof that you live in Alabama, such as a lease agreement or utility bill.
3. Allow time for review.
ADCNR staff will review your request during normal business hours. Submitting a request does not automatically qualify you for resident rates.
4. Purchase your license.
Once your eligibility is approved, log in to your account to purchase your qualifying hunting and fishing licenses at resident rates.

Make sure your information is accurate and uploaded documents are complete and readable. Missing or unclear documents may delay approval.
