Cahaba River WMA Reopens After Colonial Pipeline Cleanup

The William R. Ireland, Sr. - Cahaba River Wildlife Management Area (WMA) has reopened following the completion of cleanup and remediation efforts associated with the Colonial Pipeline gasoline leak in September 2016.

The 35,559-acre WMA is located in Bibb and Shelby counties and offers both big and small game hunting opportunities. The reopened section includes the areas between Brantleyville and Glen Carbon, Ala.
