Community Oyster Meeting To Be Held November 7

The Alabama Marine Resources Division (AMRD) will host a community oyster meeting on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, from 1-3 p.m. at the South Bay Coastal Response Center located at 7385 Highway 188 in Coden, Ala. This meeting is open to the public.

The focus of the meeting will be to update the community about present AMRD activities related to the management of Alabama’s oyster fisheries and to receive public input. During the meeting, AMRD representatives will discuss 2018 oyster reef survey results and upcoming oyster-related projects.
