STATUS:
Common in spring and fall, fairly common in winter, and uncommon to rare in summer in Gulf Coast region. In other regions, fairly common in spring and fall, and occasional in early winter. MODERATE CONSERVATION CONCERN.
HABITAT:
Found on mudflats and tidal flats.
