SCIENTIFIC NAME: Calidris pusilla
STATUS: Common in spring, fairly common to common in late summer and fall, and occasional in early summer in Gulf Coast region. In other regions, fairly common in spring and fall, and uncommon in late summer.
HABITAT: Found on beaches, mudflats, and along pond edges and lakeshores.
