Dale County State Public Fishing Lake
Dale County State Public Fishing Lake, also known as Ed Lisenby Lake, is located 1 mile north of Roy Parker Road (County Road 36) in Ozark, Alabama. This 92-acre lake is stocked with largemouth bass, bluegill, redear sunfish, and channel catfish. Amenities include restrooms, concessions, a boat ramp, a fishing pier, a 3-mile walking trail, and a community archery park adjacent to the lake. A fishing license and State Public Fishing Lakes permit is required for ages 16 to 64. Licenses and permits are available from license agents located throughout the state, online, through the Outdoor AL mobile app, at county probate offices, or by calling (888) 848-6887.
