A catch-and-release regulation on largemouth bass is in effect at Fayette County Public Fishing Lake to allow the original stock to reach a larger size. Daily creel limits and other regulations will be posted at kiosks around the lake.

Trout Fishing at Walker County Lake Begins November 23

Rainbow trout season at Walker County Public Fishing Lake begins Friday, November 23, 2018. To fish for trout, anglers must have a $5 daily trout permit in addition to a valid fishing license. Walker County Lake is located 3 miles southeast of Jasper, Ala., just off U.S. Highway 78.
